About Campus Ambassador Alexandria Robinson

Alexandria Robinson was born and raised in Memphis, TN, as evidenced by her obsession with barbecue sandwiches and penchant for the word “y’all”. She is a second year media and journalism major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alex combines her loves of writing and black culture as a staff writer for Black Ink, the official publication of the Black Student Movement on UNC’s campus. Alex works as a Student Communications Specialist at UNC’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions, a strategic intern with Heelprint, a student-run communications agency, and served as YWCA Chicago’s social media intern last summer. Her passions for poetry and service are reflected in her additional extracurricular activities; Alex is a Buckley Public Service Scholar and a member of Ebony Readers/Onyx Theater, UNC’s premier spoken word group. Alex’s hobbies include reading feminist Twitter threads, sketching, and being an ardent member of the Beyhive.
