About Mariam Sulakian

Mariam Sulakian is a freshman at Duke University, double majoring in public policy and computer science. As an editor for her school paper and a freelance journalist, Mariam's daily life the past five years has been consumed by journalism. Hoping to intertwine her love for journalism with her growing passion for social entrepreneurship, she yearns to build a foundation for the advancement of all women through her writing and her work. Whether through involvement in her political community or volunteering in support of international non-profits, Mariam aims to make a difference in any way possible. As for the future?
