On lessons she has learned about advocating for herself:

“When you discount your value by saying oh that’s not a big deal, you give others permission to discount your value at work. By simply changing how you respond to compliments you increase your real and perceived value in the workplace without coming off as arrogant.”

On what women neglect to ask for during negotiation:

“Major things women neglect to ask for are resources that will set them up for success in the role. Throughout the interview process you should gain insight beyond the job description of what your scope of work will be. By asking specific questions about the role in the interview, you’ll be able to uncover what you will need to succeed in the role.”
