How Millennial Women Can Navigate Their Way To Success

On August 10th, entrepreneur and influencer Mattie James joined subscribers of #theAgenda to share her insight on the four seasons of success.

For an hour, Mattie shared personal lessons that left our community inspired, encouraged and eager to be more intentional with how they use their time and energy.

Here’s one piece of advice that resonated with many in #theAgenda:

“It’s easy to let your situation position you as the victim. Don’t let it. Keep going. No one who ever made it did it by quitting.”

On how millennial women should learn to navigate the transition from one season to the next:

“I think millennial women should realize the power they have. We have SO much access and we don’t tap into that because it’s ‘hard.’ Every season is hard. Once you come to that realization you can then decide to move forward anyway.”

On personal lessons that she has learned growing in her career as an entrepreneur:

“Relationships are so important, but so is your word. Supporting is also very important because you never know where someone will be in a year and how they can possibly help you. I don’t ever want to lose value or stop getting better.”
