[About Channing Hargrove]
Channing Hargrove is an NYC-based fashion editor and writer. She’s currently the Fashion News Writer at Refinery29 where she reports on industry events and hunts down exclusives as well as hidden stories and breaking headlines. Her work has been featured on Coveteur, Racked, Teen Vogue, Essence and countless other media outlets. When she isn’t writing about clothing (or shopping, for research, of course), Channing is writing about life in a tiny studio apartment in a big city — and what she’s wearing — on her blog, Channing in the City.
[About Brandee Sanders]
Brandee Sanders is a Harlem-based writer and content marketing strategist. She specializes in digital storytelling in the non-profit space and also serves as a contributing writer for NewsOne.com. Her written work has been featured on The Root, NewsOne, Levo League, Fast Company and other media outlets. In 2014, Brandee created Brunch with Brandee, an online journal that serves as a one-stop shop for her daily musings, experiences, and pieces that she’s penned for other media outlets. In efforts to take the conversation offline, she began hosting seasonal brunches designed to highlight women of color who are making power moves in their respective fields and to cultivate a community of young, diverse, professional millennial women. Her passion lies in creating affordable safe spaces for women of color to uplift, network, and simply vibe with each other.
All attendees must be 21+. Tickets are non-refundable.
