Join the Arlington Commission on the Status of Women in partnership with the AAUW - Arlington VA Branch, the League of Women Voters of Arlington (VA), and Virginia Leadership Institute: Gaining a Seat at the Political Table for a non-partisan event for women interested in learning about and pursuing opportunities in public service and/ or public office. Men are also encouraged to attend to join in on learning the challenges and opportunities women face when seeking to more formally serve the community as well as how they can both aid and benefit from equal representation of both genders in public service and office.
