Glittered in Goals, is a series of live women empowerment events created by Valaencia Thompson for real women looking for real growth. Glittered in Goals “Summer Sit Down” wants you to leave feeling empowered, supported and prepared for you to become the best version of yourself. The event will challenge you to look at your inner self and prioritize real goals for personal and professional growth. As the year comes to an end this event serves as a great time for self-reflection and goal setting. Guests will hear inspiring testimony from mental health professionals, business owners, artists and educators. The featured guests will discuss the importance of staying true to self and spreading knowledge to others, how to survive when relationships have fallen apart, and facing your fears. Guests will also enjoy a finger food buffet, cupcake bar and tasty cocktails and mocktails while shopping from local women owned businesses. Guests will be responsible for their own parking fees or asked to Lyft or Uber to the venue. A portion of the proceeds from Glittered in Goals “Summer Sit Down” will benefit local non-profit organization, Choose to DO, Inc. Choose to DO, Inc promotes self-love and leadership among young women ages 9-19 years old.
