Weber, California’s first African American Secretary of State, and Anna Malaika Tubbs, author of The Three Mothers: How the Mothers of Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X and James Baldwin Shaped a Nation. Both guests’ achievements are highlighted in the Museum’s exhibit “Women Inspire: California Women Changing Our World.”

The California Museum engages, educates and enlightens people about California’s rich history, its diversity and its unique influence on the world of ideas, innovation, art and culture.
