As promised Dominican Writers is continuing the dialogue to dismantle Machismo. In doing so they have partnered with Luis Alejandro Tapia, a social impact and equity consultant at the intersections of leadership, spirituality, justice, healing and liberation. On this day Luis will be engaging you in dialogue discussing trauma, misogyny, the role culture and tradition plays in Latinx households, feminism, machismo, victim blaming/shaming of POC and so much more!
In addition Dominican Writers will be sharing tools and resources to continue the work with family and friends.
Please arrive on time and be ready to do the reformative work. This will not be a panel discussion but more of a community building to bring about social change. This event is about reimagining masculinity, combating toxicity, and creating a loving community.
Doors will open at 5:30PM, Dialogue to commence soon after. .
