How Uber Engages Millennials through On-Demand Marketing
Christine Mitchell, General Manager at Uber will present a case study on how Uber engages millennials in real time and in new and exciting ways. The case study feature Tacos on demand at University of South Florida (USF).
Uber prides itself on being a safe and reliable form of transportation for college students in Tampa Bay. Last summer, Uber took things up a notch by bringing the USF community delicious food and late-night fun in true Uber fashion.
Taco Bus and Uber teamed up to deliver over 3,000 free tacos to the USF area Starting at 11pm on August 27, 2015, well over a thousand students began tapping “Request” in their Uber app. Amazingly, even with the ridiculous demand, each taco delivery took less than 4 minutes to go from request to arrival. That’s what tacos at the speed of Uber looks like.
