Cubicles to Cocktails, Melanin & Mental Health and Lemon Laine Beauty & Wellness Shop have partnered to bring you a restorative evening of cocktails + conversation. With more and more women building high-achieving careers and starting businesses, we’ve all experienced or at the least know another woman who struggles with imposter syndrome. While anyone could experience impostor syndrome, research shows that it is most prevalent among women and racial minorities. How many times has someone told you, “Stop comparing yourself, sis,” as the solution to overcoming imposter syndrome? Contrary to popular belief, imposter syndrome is much more complex and the solution to simply avoid the “comparison trap” is misguided.
