On December 4th, TEDxCUNYSalons will explore the theme of “Ripple Effects”, and how in times of struggle we are driven to action. Every action and decision has an impact far beyond ourselves and our communities, an impact which continues to be felt long into the future. When we act, and when we try to understand the actions of others, we consider how that initial action spreads outward, expanding to effect that which we may never know. At this TEDxCUNYSalon we ask, what are the consequences, legacies, and ripple effects we create when we act and why?
With CUNY’s 530,000+ students enrolled in 25 institutions, TEDxCUNY is representationally the largest TEDx University event in the country. It is also the first public university TEDx conference in New York City, as well as the first TEDx event in the country to represent multiple campuses.
