17 years ago Linda Spradley Dunn (the CEO & founder of Odyssey media) asked 350 women to attend my inaugural event in Palm Desert, California. She felt it was time that multicultural women had a place to gather and discuss the unique successes and obstacles we face as corporate executives, small business owners, mothers, and professionals.
The results were as wonderful as they were far-reaching. Together, they unleashed an inspired group of women who created powerful, lasting relationships. The participants of the Odyssey Media Business Retreat continue to assist each other with mentoring, careers, board placements, advice, and above all else: a trusted sisterhood.
Now that they are destined to be here 17 years later, in this moment, at this time, to continue helping each other on our journeys.
