About the Panelist:
Jonathan Hakakian: Jonathan joined SoundBoard Consulting Group, LLC in 2010 to focus on early-stage growth companies after several years working in a startup. His entrepreneurial passions started early, having grown up in a retail, family business and playing a role in success of the company. In 2012, Jonathan co-founded SoundBoard Angel Fund in order to build a community of experienced entrepreneurs outside of NYC to formally invest in early-stage companies. Jonathan continues to coach "new" entrepreneurs as they build out their business plans, prototype their products & services, and need a point of accountability to support building momentum in their ventures.
Claudia Iannazzo: Claudia is Partner from Pereg Ventures and has facilitated more than $10 billion of acquisitions, divestments, IPOs, alliances and partnerships for public companies and new ventures around the globe. Having started her first company in her undergraduate years at university, Claudia has continued to work with entrepreneurs throughout a 15-year career spanning 5 continents. She has led strategic alliances, acquisition and turnaround activities for two Australian advertising giants, Tabcorp Holdings and Foster’s Group and held executive commercial positions within several multinational technology companies. Most recently, Claudia utilized her corporate development expertise to help forge commercial arrangements between startups and multinationals. She supported the creation of effective sales, marketing and business strategies to attract investment or acquisition.
Jessica Peltz-Zatulove: Jessica is a venture capitalist at kbs+ Ventures, where she focuses on early stage investments in startups looking to transform the media and advertising industry. She's been named by TechWeek as one of NYC's 100 Most Influential People in Tech, and has been featured on CNBC, Fox Business, and popular podcast ThePitchDeck. Jessica has a global footprint and has developed strategic relationships with over 250+ startup organizations across 20+ countries worldwide. Prior to joining kbs+, she specialized in helping connect marketers with emerging technology and spent 10+ years working with Fortune 500 brands including Verizon Wireless, Kraft Foods, and H&M. While at Evol8tion she brokered numerous first to market startup and brand partnerships, and as a VP Integrated Media Director at Zenith was recognized as one of the original industry pioneers in the mobile space and spearheaded the strategy for multiple clients.
Katie Frankel: Katie is the Director of Community at ff Venture Capital and is responsible for facilitating relationships among the ffVC portfolio community, business development, special events, overseeing the firm's social media, and ad-hoc projects. Katie was recently named as one of the Rising VC Stars in Business's Insider's 30 under 30 list. Prior to being the Director of Community, Katie was was responsible for due diligence research, investor relations, overseeing the firm's social media, and ad-hoc projects as an Associate at ff Venture Capital
