Viva Social Media: An evening hosted by photographer Bodil Bergman Hughes, and presented (in English) by food + lifestyle blogger, Instagrammer, mother and social media influencer, Marisa ‘Miss’ Marzipan. The event will be of particular interest to:

1) Individuals interested in using social media/a blog in a positive way, either to build/promote a business or to connect with others while sharing creative ideas

2) Brands interested in fostering healthy relationships with influencers and using social media to organically “brand build” & market products/services

3) Those interested in contributing to charitable causes (humanitarian, environmental & animal welfare)

Join us as we discuss from a personal, insightful and occasionally humorous perspective:

The story behind Miss Marzipan

Organic growth on social media

How to make authentic connections online (and avoid drama)

Creativity boosting techniques

Why being nonstrategic might be the best “strategy”

The perks and pitfalls of life online

Using your reach for positive impact

Finding a balance between social media, work & family life

... and some nitty gritty stuff that influencers don’t often talk about openly, like how they got started, pricing work and BIG mistakes they made!

At this small, casual event, you will have a chance to mingle, partake in an informal Q&A session and sample snacks & drinks from local organic, ethical businesses ADD:WISE and GodDryck. All attendees will leave with a special gift.

Net proceeds from the night will go directly to Lighthouse Relief and World Wildlife Fund in the form of legacy donations.
