We believe you already have the experience, talent and networks to achieve your political ambition. #RunAsYouAre will accelerate the growth of your political networks and know-how with practical and actionable steps. The workshop will help you make a real plan to get to know your political community, find the best office to run for, and bolster your campaign to win. With the unprecedented surge in women interested in running for office, our essential and individualized approach equips participants to campaign and win.
VoteRunLead trains women to run for office. And win. VoteRunLead is the largest and most diverse campaign training organization in the country. To date, VoteRunLead has trained more than 33,000 women to run for office and has seen an unprecedented number of women signing up. In 2017, VoteRunLead trained more than 9,700 women to run for office and win. At VoteRunLead we believe women can #RunAsYouAre now, regardless of previous political experience. We believe women already have the life experience, talent and capacity to run for office. We believe if you have a passion to serve, you can run for office and win. VoteRunLead centers women of color. 60% of VoteRunLead alumnae are women of color and VoteRunLead is the only organization working in America’s heartland with a Rural Women’s Initiative.
WeWork is the platform for creators. We provide everything creators need to make a life, not just a living. There has been a macro shift towards a new way of work—one focused on a movement towards meaning. WeWork is accelerating this movement. As WeWork’s mission is to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living, we’re proud to partner with this great organization, VoteRunLead. WeWork strives to advance gender equality in the workplace by supporting women at every level to break through their own glass ceiling. By aligning people and space, communities can come together to discuss important issues and engage in a dialogue about the topics that matter most to them. We’re excited to provide this “Town Hall” environment to foster frank discussions around the need for women to enter public service and get involved in their communities not just with words, but with action.
