The WICT Signature Luncheon is the premier industry event where distinguished leaders come together to recognize the top companies that are paving the way in demonstrating exceptional gender diversity and inclusion programs. The luncheon will be held in conjunction with INTX, on Monday, May 16, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.
Mary Carillo, an award-winning Olympic Correspondent and Tennis Analyst for NBC will host the Luncheon. Rio marks Carillo’s 13th Olympic assignment overall and 10th for NBC. She has worked as a tennis analyst since 1980, including NBC’s and USA Network’s Grand Slam coverage since 2003. Carillo first triumphed in the world of professional tennis, winning the 1977 French Open mixed-doubles title in partnership with childhood-friend John McEnroe. Carillo has received two coveted Peabody Awards, one of television’s highest honors.
Iris Bohnet, Ph.D., will deliver keynote remarks during the luncheon. Dr. Bohnet, Professor of Public Policy, is a behavioral economist at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her latest book, What Works: Gender Equality by Design, explores the tools needed to move the needle in classrooms and boardrooms, and in hiring and promotion, to benefit businesses, governments -- and the lives of millions.
