With nearly $3 billion in annual sales, Etsy has transformed artisanal goods into big business. More importantly, Etsy has created an opportunity for millions of people, but especially women who are 86% of sellers, to become entrepreneurs in the global digital economy.
Althea Erickson will explain how women have become global entrepreneurs through Etsy and what this means for the future of work.
Althea Erickson is Head of Global Advocacy and Policy at Etsy, where she leads Etsy's public policy and government relations team across the globe, focusing on policies that enable Etsy sellers to start and grow their creative businesses.
