Women in Leadership: A Conversation
Join in celebrating 150 years of Howard University's Internationalization of Black Consciousness and Gender Equality. The event will be marked by a conversation on women's global leadership and student poster displays of women around the world.
The event will feature a dialogue with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Congresswoman Karen Bass, and Sandra Pepera.
There will include a special performance by Anna Mwalagho.
The event is sponsored by the Center for African Studies, Women and Gender Studies Collective at Howard (WGSC), the Department of Political Science, the Department of African Studies, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Howard University Graduate School, the Ralph Bunche Center for International Affairs, the Institute for African Women in Law, HU ADVANCE IT, and the Mooreland-Spingarn Research Center.
