Women comprise 48% of the US workforce, but only 24% of workers in STEM fields. That number is even lower—less than 1 in 10--for women of color. Given those statistics, Digital Diversity Network (DDN) has launched a platform for influential women of color to impart their wisdom and passion; share their stories; and inspire others to defy the odds and thrive in the Creative Economy.

DDN’s Women of Color in Tech initiative celebrates the contributions of women from diverse backgrounds, passions and pursuits in the digital and technology sectors. This carefully curated assembly of more than100 leaders; founders; influencers; inventors; creators; advocates; and funders represent what’s NOW and what’s NEXT in the tech universe. Today, these dynamic and distinctive women are developing the patents, products, tools and apps that will power tomorrow.Through this collective experience, we aim to educate, empower and ignite positive action to advance the future for women of color in tech.

Digital Diversity Network is a 501 (c)(6) non-profit trade association.  Founded in 2012, our mission is to provide community, education and resources to advance diversity and inclusion in the leadership and ownership of the digital and technology sectors.
