5 Hispanic Women-Led Startups To Watch Into 2025
As we look toward the last quarter of 2024, startups led by Hispanic women are taking off. From providing better support for solo female travelers, to making sure rehabilitation patients’ progress is accurately tracked, these women are leading the way in the startup world.

Greether
Founded in 2021 by Vanessa Karel, travel service Greether was highlighted as one of the 24 Hot Travel Startups for 2024 by Phocuswire. Greether is dedicated to enhancing the safety of travel for women around the world and empowers them to travel solo with confidence, according to their website. Through Greether, women travelers can book verified local women greeters wherever they travel and receive personalized travel experiences.
Karel was named as one of 100 Rising Latinx Startup Founders To Watch by Inicio Ventures, and a Latinx To Watch by Hispanic Executive. She was inspired to create Greether after traveling solo through Morocco in 2020 and having scary travel experiences.
Sunny Period
Founded in 2020 by Cindy Belardo and Drew Jarvis, Sunny Period is working to normalize menstruation and end period poverty by creating the “first menstrual cup that inserts like a tampon,” according to the company’s website. The Sunny Cup + Applicator went viral after an April 2022 TikTok video showed Jarvis demonstrating how to use it.
In June 2024, Sunny Period received approval from the Food and Drug Administration for its applicator product, and in August 2024, Sunny Period received a $250,000 investment from the Indiana University Angel Network.
Founders Registry
Founded in 2021 by Ana Pompa Alarcón, Founders Registry was designed to support underfunded and underserved community members to raise venture capital money to uplift Latinx founders. The mission of Founders Registry is to help raise funding, scale companies and build generational wealth by providing services, tools and mentorship, according to their website.
Alarcón was highlighted as one of 100 Rising Latinx Startup Founders To Watch by Inicio Ventures.
SMARTCharts
Founded in 2022 by Corinne Vargas, SMARTCharts is a health tech company that works to optimize rehabilitation patient outcomes using AI-enabled care, according to its website. Vargas was inspired to start the company after her mother suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke and she realized there was an easier way to access and visualize information about a rehabilitation patient’s progress, according to Built In Chicago.
SMARTCharts won a $100,000 grand prize at the TechRise pitch competition in 2022.
Raddle
Founded in 2020 by Lyani Rodriguez, Raddle’s mission is to help employees feel heard at work through equitable and engaging conversations with a focus on how people interact in conversations. Raddle utilizes AI to make meetings more efficient by sending prompts at specific points in conversations and meetings to help keep discussions on track and make sure every voice is heard, according to the company’s website.
Rodriguez is a recipient of a cash award from the Google For Startups Latino Founders Fund, a fund that provides promising U.S. Latinx-led startups non-equity cash to fuel their businesses.
