Angel Reese is already blazing a trail in the WNBA, and along with her points per game, the Chicago Sky rookie‘s endorsement worth has grown along with her influence. Reese already claimed WNBA’s Rookie of the Month in June 2024, securing her reputation by averaging 14.5 points and 13.2 rebounds per game.

The 6’3″ forward was drafted by Chicago Sky as the 7th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. She’s one of the frontrunners for the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award.

Just before the end of her college career, Reese’s NIL (name, image, and likeness) valuation soared to $1.8 million. According to ON3, Reese landed deals with companies including Goldman Sachs, Beats by Dre, Tampax, Reebok, AirBnb, Playstation, and Amazon.

Harnessing Her Talent And Fan Power

The Maryland native knew the score about WNBA salaries when she was in college. “Everybody knows the WNBA doesn’t make that much money, so I just want to be able to grow my brand as much as I can in college before I go to the WNBA,” she told Sports Illustrated in a 2023 interview.

When Reese signed a four-year contract with Chicago Sky for $324,383, and broken down year by year, that’s $73,439 in 2024, $74,909 in 2025, $82,399 in 2026, and $93,636 in 2027.

Being strategic about her financial success, she’s continued to build relationships and reach for endorsement opportunities. “I mean, I play the game I love, not for the money; I play because I love basketball and genuinely love basketball,” she shared in an interview with ESPN. “And now that I’m a pro and being able to continue to work with these brands long term, I think that’s something people don’t really realize.”

“I love that the brands want to work with us and continue to want to work with us,” she continued. “I want people to know the deals don’t just stop in college when you go to the pros, they continue, and I feel like they’ve even grown even more.”

At the end of June, Reese posted “Reese’s pieces where yall at?????” on social media, naming her growing fan base. She later announced an on-the-nose collaboration with the Hershey Co.’s Reese’s Pieces. When she announced the limited edition Angel Reese x Reese’s Pieces Logo Collection, she also shared that she’d been trying to seal the deal with the chocolate company for four years.

It’s estimated that Reese’s endorsement deals are now upwards of $2 million

With all of this momentum, Angel Reese’s endorsement worth is sure to grow as she continues to prove herself on the basketball court and in brand meetings. The “Bayou Barbie” was already diversifying her portfolio when she announced in May that she was the first owner in a membership group of the women’s soccer team DC Power Football Club.
