The inaugural “50 Best Workplaces for Diversity” list was unveiled this week at the 2015 ANA Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference in Miami, FL. The Great Places to Work Institute partnered with Fortune,Essence and People en Español.
Camden Property Trust, Texas Health Resources and American Savings Bank top the overall list of best places to work. Quicken Loans is named the No. 1 best workplace for African Americans and Ultimate Software tops the list for Latino Americans, information technology company Workday is the No. 1 best workplace for Asian Americans.
The ranking outlines which companies are making inclusiveness a top priority. Rankings were determined by employee feedback and the representation of racial and ethnic minorities and women.
“The 50 Best Workplaces for Diversity relies on data that is self-reported, reflecting a genuine culture of inclusion and belief in opportunities for advancement,” said Essence President Michelle Ebanks in a press release about the list.
