Award-winning entrepreneur, author, Founder/CEO of SWAAY Media, and published scientist, Iman Oubou joined #HerAgendaLive to discuss her journey of writing her book “The Glass Ledge: How to Break Through Self-Sabotage, Embrace Your Power and Create Your Success.” She shares that the work is an addition to her pre-existing efforts to create an inclusive space to champion women’s voices.

She talks about the diaspora of professional growth and self-reflection for women while challenged by existing external barriers in their career development. In her book, Oubou portrays the overarching themes of internalized oppression and self-sabotage that can pivot career shifts.

Through this book and her company initiatives, she hopes to help women entrepreneurs to build or rebuild themselves after the pandemic and the #MeToo movement.

Ambition Delivered.
