The International Women’s Media Foundation creates opportunities for women and nonbinary journalists through grants, safety training, and newsroom programs. Our work spans from supporting Ukraine war coverage to protecting U.S. journalists facing threats and harassment at home. Through targeted funding and training programs like the Kim Wall Memorial Fund and Indigenous Journalists Initiative, we help build a more representative and equitable news media.
