Kimberly Simone Appointed Vice President Of Sales And Marketing At Mohegan Sun

Mohegan Sun, one of the largest entertainment, gaming, dining and shopping destinations in the United States, has named Kimberly Simone as its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Kimberly joined the organization in 2023 as Director of Sales and brings nearly 20 years of experience in sales and marketing to the role.
In her expanded role, Kimberly will oversee strategic sales and marketing initiatives for Mohegan Sun’s meetings and events venues, including the Earth Expo & Convention Center, Sky Convention Center, Mohegan Sun Golf Club, and additional event spaces across the property.

Kimberly has played a key role in growing Mohegan Sun’s convention business since joining last year. According to the announcement, she will continue to lead the convention sales team and will be responsible for driving bookings and developing marketing strategies for major upcoming events, including the Wicked Gluten Free Expo, New England Tattoo Expo, and TerrifiCon.

Before joining Mohegan Sun, Kimberly held leadership roles at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina and Foxwoods Casino Resort, where she led resort sales and managed national accounts. Her background also includes experience in data-driven sales strategy and operations.
A graduate of Bryant College and the Walt Disney World College Program, Kimberly has been active in professional organizations including Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau’s Board of Directors.
