Latinas On The Verge of Excellence (L.O.V.E.)
L.O.V.E. (Latinas On the Verge of Excellence) empowers young Latinas through mentorship and health education programs across 35 high schools in New York. Founded by Claudia Espinosa, the program has reached over 3,000 young women in 12 years, focusing on mental, reproductive, and physical health alongside college and career preparation. Through connecting mentees with mentors who reflect their identity and potential, L.O.V.E. works to increase high school graduation rates, college enrollment, and healthy outcomes among young Latinas.
