Wow! Pantene absolutely nailed this one. In just 60 seconds, Pantene highlights so  many of the double standards towards women in society. The ad shows men and women in the scenarios, but the man evokes a completely different label than the woman. While a man is seen as a “boss” women are “bossy.” Men are “persuasive” while women are “pushy.” A man with a child who works late is “dedicated” while a woman is “selfish.”

The description for the ad reads:

70% of men think that women need to downplay their personality to be accepted. Pantene asks everyone to whip away the double standards that hold women back. Because when you stand strong, you shine.
