Savage x Fenty Stores Set To Open In Time For Valentine’s Day
Through an Instagram teaser, Rihanna let the Navy know she will be opening Savage x Fenty stores later this year. And according to reports, there will be five brick-and-mortar locations across the U.S., in cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, and the northern Virginia-Washington, D.C. area. The timing for Savage x Fenty stores couldn’t have been better, as the Las Vegas and Washington D.C. locations will begin welcoming guests just in time for Valentine’s Day. (In fact, the location at Pentagon City Mall in Arlington, Va. is set to open Feb. 1).
Taking The Online Experience To Stores
Savage x Fenty continues to be a brand favorite for many due to the inclusivity of sizes for diverse body types and ultimately redefining what sexy is. With a variety of styles to choose from, so many lovers of fashion can find pieces that truly align with their mood and vibe. Whether you want to feel sexy in cozy pajamas or spice it up with a lacey set, Savage x Fenty continues to provide options online and now, in stores.
When visiting the stores, shoppers should expect nothing less! Shopping for lingerie is an intimate experience, and as ladies we want to make sure we pick the option that best fits our body type. With Savage X Fenty in-person stores, lovers of the brand will find everyday staples and jaw-dropping pieces right on the spot.
What This Means For The Brand
Not only does the Savage x Fenty brand exude a sense of fearlessness, confidence, and inclusivity but also in its mission. During a time when big businesses are shutting down their storefronts, the brand decided to fearlessly offer an in-store experience for shoppers. This expansion is a pivotal moment for the brand since launching in 2018 with the mission to “make people look and feel good…Savage X means making your own rules and expressing your mood, character, and style for you – not for someone else,” Rihanna indicates via the brand’s Website.
The very first Savage x ambassador was Normani who was handpicked by Rihanna herself. And the brand has experienced exceptional growth over the years, as men grabbed their basics from the menswear capsule collection that was released in 2020. Adding men to the picture took the brand’s idea of inclusivity to the next level, giving them the opportunity to become ambassadors as well. Today, you can find ambassadors from all walks of life showcasing the different styles of lingerie wear.
The Savage x Fenty Fashion Legacy
For years, representation in the fashion industry fell short for all kinds of women as only certain body types were appreciated. When Rihanna disrupted the fashion industry, especially the lingerie industry with an all-inclusive brand it made brands second guess their missions and made the unrepresented feel seen. It’s so intentional that a lingerie brand took the big leap to make this transition in the fashion industry because lingerie is a garment women would wear under their clothes, but Savage X Fenty has brought this confidence and sexiness out of all us!
The fashion shows depict this, as no model looks the same. There is diversity in the models who walk, dance, and perform in the shows. Some models are our favorite celebrities, including comedian Luenell, supermodel icon Cindy Crawford, and fashion queen Gigi Hadid, and for some, the Savage X Fenty fashion shows were the first mainstream fashion shows they’ve ever walked in. We see models of all sizes, with disabilities, with eclectic and glam styles, and so much more.
The bad gal continues to break entrepreneurship glass ceilings and reached billionaire status, inspiring us all to take our dreams higher and higher. She was also honored as a ‘national hero‘ in her home country of Barbados during its historical 2021 presidential inauguration. Savage X Fenty is now worth $1 billion dollars and with the expansion of in-person stores the Navy can only expect much more from the brand in the coming weeks. Until then, we’ll report back with an exclusive in-person store experience once the D.C. store opens!
