‘She Started It’ Documentary Aims To Highlight Women Founders

A new still-in-progress, documentary titled “She Started it” hopes to shed light on the stories and unknown world of female entrepreneurs.

Nora Poggi and Insiyah Saeed, the documentaries creators want women to feel empowered and begin to believe they are capable of more than society tells them.

“Today, being an entrepreneur is still associated with being a man,” Poggi says in pitch video about the documentary.  After noticing a growing number of women entrpreneurs in SIlicon Valley, Poggi and Saeed seek to inspire and educate women that it’s possible to become succesful entrepreneurs  They hope to ignite a passion within their audience that makes them say to themselves “I can do it!”

In order to create the documentary, the creators have launched a campaign to raise funds for the production and costs associated with producing the film.
