Last year, when Teyana Taylor announced she was retiring from music, fans were upset at her label, Def Jam for making her feel “unappreciated.” She continued to explain “I gotta do it for my mental health. I have to do it for my emotional health,” she said. “I have to do it for my kids, so I can stay alive for my kids.”

Taylor is still remaining in the entertainment industry but taking on a new venture. Most recently, E! announced five new shows set to debut. One of them included Teyana Taylor, but this time it’s a family affair. “It couple Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert will give an unfiltered behind-the-scenes look at their lives juggling music, fashion, business and family with E!’s We Got Love Iman & Teyana.”

The couple isn’t new to being in the limelight. In 2018, they had a reality TV series with VH1 Teyana & Iman, but that shortly ended after season one.

After becoming a mom of two, Teyana shifted the majority of her time to take care of her family and more acting roles.

Teyana recently starred in Coming to America 2 and her husband Iman Shumpert, plays for the Brooklyn Nets.

The couple openly expresses love to each other through Instagram posts, giving fans a glimpse into their lives.

Teyana loves sharing pictures of her family. Her daughter Rue will be turning one soon and her oldest Junie who seems to be the jokester. Junie also has her own kids clothing line called Juju Beez Clothing. In this new reality TV series, we can look forward to seeing how The Shumpert’s balance family time and business ventures.

They also spoke about their relationship in different interviews, but through their new reality show we can expect to see a little bit more.

The premiere date of We Got Love Iman & Teyana has yet to be released.
