This week, The National Association of Women Business Owners released a fun and informative infographic detailing the results of polling 550 women about their business.

They found 66% of women business owners to be more optimistic entering 2013 than 2012. There’s also a prediction by an outstanding 85% of women that other women will start their own business in 2013.

Top issues for women include most notably what seems to be the top issues for any business person: the state of the economy, business tax issues, health insurance costs, and access to a quality workforce. (hint, hint, some of them should post their job listings in our opportunities section!)

When it comes to marketing, websites top the list of priorities with 85% saying they’re going to invest in that, followed by social media, SEO, mobile and e-commerce.  Shockingly, only 44% consider social media marketing and SEO to be the future of small business marketing. They also tend to find LinkedIn more valuable than Facebook and twitter.
