Angela is a 12th-grade student at Hunter College High School. She is extremely strong in and enthusiastic about math, having qualified for AIME in 11th grade and serving as Editor-in-Chief of her school’s math magazine since junior year. She is also passionate about biology and chemistry, interning as a RASopathy and cancer researcher at Mount Sinai and conducting additional research on antibiotic resistance in public vs. private modes of transportation. Outside of these interests, Angela enjoys robotics and economics. She is Vice President of her school’s selective economics team and won first place in the New York State National Economics Challenge. She also loves reading, drawing, and writing, being involved in numerous magazines at her school. Moreover, she is fluent in English and Mandarin and highly proficient in Spanish, serving as the president and founder of her school’s Spanish club En Español, where she seeks to combine her interests in math, science, and writing with Spanish, something she wants to bring to the table at Her Agenda.
