Into the spring flames we go, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius!
Happy Birthday, Aries!
This current chapter for you is a powerful one (as they often can be during our annual solar returns). Your theme for this chapter speaks volumes: You are, under no circumstances, waiting for anyone’s permission anymore to be who (or what) you are.

You have spent a lot of this winter unpicking patterns and re-parenting yourself, and now is the time to break out of the box of your former identity. Do it with compassion, conviction and grace. (Style will come naturally).
On the 19th of April, we shift gears from Aries to Taurus (or 20th, depending on your timezone), which may feel sticky. Mercury (our planet of communication) conjuncts Saturn (our planet of rules and big-dad energy), as well as conjoining Mars (our fiery red planet of action), In Aries. Essentially, what this translates to is: If you don’t want to get stuck in a traffic jam of details all piling up at the last minute (this can apply to business, home, or in the Self), please do plan ahead.
Get that passport photo you need taken before you feel like it’s necessary, get rid of your ex’s stuff before you feel it lose all the attached emotion, and have a little patience when it comes to situations that at first present themselves as difficult. Embodying fly-under-the-radar energy will serve you well here (I know, I know, not your usual approach).
When an adult looks at a patch of brambles and only sees thorns, a child may look at the same patch and see a fun, yet challenging, narrow pathway through. Keep that can-do Aries energy with you into this shift, and you may find yourself squeaking under the gate just as it’s closing.
Sagittarius
A lot of the action is on the other side of the chart this season, dear Sag. Lucky for you, this translates to the possibility of a lot of meaningful activation in the realm of teamwork and collaboration during this time. Uranus’s entrance into Gemini at the end of April is directly opposite your sign – expect it to be activating in a good and potentially unpredictable way.
Uranus’s energy can be striking – and opposing you in Gemini can create some “I spilled the whole tray of drinks on my way to the table” energy. This isn’t necessarily bad, per se – some of the best 180s in our night can come from an unexpected shakeup.
The full moon in your sign on May 31 is truly going to feel like a celebration of who you are: Your visionary, dreamy, enthusiastic self. Use that energy to connect with people who see you for who you really are.

Leo
Leo, darling. Remember how we talked about deep winter and the slow, quiet havoc it was wreaking on your life? (If you forgot, or you feel like you’re still in it, you can catch last quarter’s forecast here).
Well, the good news is in.
The energetic tension shifts towards Aries mid-spring, and Uranus sliding back into Gemini on April 25 creates a flowing, more harmonious energy with your sign. Uranus’s energy of innovation and creation isn’t particularly chill, but just like how Geminis and Leos who sat together in class got in constant trouble for talking, our big planet’s placement in the talkative sign works well to your ability to roll with the punches.
In short, this quarter gives us the shift from feeling trapped and inspired to the bird in the midst of freeing its wing from the tangle of thorns, preparing to push off in flight.
Don’t stress if things feel a little hot in Taurus season – you know this pressure-makes-diamonds energy well, and it’s all lining up for your big ‘debut’ of Jupiter (our planet of expansion) into your sign in June.
That’s all we’ve got for this month’s astro forecast, Fire signs!
