YWCA Brooklyn’s LEAD program helps girls of color from poverty-impacted communities achieve educational and economic success through comprehensive college preparation and mentorship. Starting in 10th grade and continuing through college graduation, the program provides academic support, test prep, career development, and mentoring from professional women of color. The program’s impact is clear: 100% of participants graduate high school and enter four-year colleges, with 97% on track to complete their degrees.
