These are just some of the excuses we use as millennial women to talk ourselves out of home ownership. Nevermind that owning a home can lead you down a path to financial freedom. More bottomless brunches you say?!
We’ve convinced ourselves that home ownership is not for us. But it is! Her Agenda, with the help of Bank of America, wanted to have an intimate and honest girl chat where we talk DOLLARS and SENSE about the process of buying your first home. Some of the women we chatted with have student loans and some are debt-free, some are single and some are married, some are are first-time homeowners and some own multiple properties. They didn’t have all the answers at the beginning. But it didn’t stop them from leveling-up to accomplish their goal of being their own landlord.
