Ahead of the crowd, the multihyphenate was one of the first celebrities to launch a clothing line in April 2001 with JLO by Jennifer Lopez. She then debuted her keystone fragrance, Glow by J. Lo, in September 2002. Per WWD, Jennifer earned $2 million in retail sales from 25 perfumes. She’s since expanded her scent conglomerate to 33 perfumes.

Real Estate

The performer has also been busy in the real estate arena. According to Architectural Digest, Jennifer owns roughly $124.8 million in bi-coastal real estate, covering cities from Los Angeles and Bel Air to Miami and Manhattan.

Partnerships And Endorsements

Known as the queen of collaborations, Lopez has worked with many brands throughout her career — from Versace to Intimissimi. Lopez collaborated on a jewelry line, Endless Jewelry, in March 2016 and a makeup line, Inglot Cosmetics, in April 2018.

She’s also added footwear to her portfolio by working on two heel designs with Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti in 2017 and 2018. In addition, Jennifer released a line of shoes with DSW in 2020, and a handbag collection followed.

Investments And Startups

Key investments and startups contribute to Jennifer’s net worth. Some of her investments include the cruise line Virgin Voyages, Super CoffeeGoli nutritional supplements, and Hims & Hers, a telehealth and prescription delivery company.

As for the startup scene, Lopez has invested in fintech startup Acorns, India-based wellness and yoga startup Sarva, and TruFusion, a fitness center chain offering various fitness programs under one roof.

“I believe business is an art just like anything else I do, and you have to create it every day,” Lopez told The Hollywood Reporter. “I see life as an art, and it’s within your power, just as in your business, to make it as small or as big as you want. Whatever that means to you.”
